1963年出生于山东。山东大学光学系 学士(1985年);航天部701研究所 助工(1985至 1987年);哈尔滨工业大学16专业 硕士(1989年);中国科学院物理研究所 博士(1992年);中国科学院生物物理研究所 高级工程师(1993至 1994年);日本关西学院大学化学系博士后(1995至2001);中国科学院化学研究所 研究员、入选"百人计划"(2001至2006)、分子动态与稳态结构国家重点实验室 副主任(2001至2005);哈尔滨工业大学凝聚态科技研究中心 客座教授、兼职博士生导师(2005至今);中国人民大学化学系 教授(2006年至今)。

通过超快光谱手段研究复杂功能分子与材料体系的构效关系。主要内容包括: (1)生物、化学以及材料体系中的电荷转移和能量传递动力学;(2)天然抗氧化剂自由基反应机理;(3)激光光谱学新理论、新方法。

从事生物、化学和光电功能材料等复杂体系的分子动态结构研究。建立了大型分子动态结构研究平台,包括宽时域时间分辨光谱、飞秒时间分辨受激拉曼光谱、光谱显微等尖端技术手段,发展了复杂光谱动力学数据解析方法。在天然与模拟光合作用超分子体系、天然抗氧化剂的自由基反应机理、以及光电功能分子与材料研究领域发表SCI收录科研论文120余篇。代表性论文:
